THERE IS MORE THAN ONE WAY TO SAIL

Pick your pace.

A Virgin day can be social, active, quiet or a little of each. The itinerary sets the time ashore. You choose how to use the time around it.

01

A slower morning

Breakfast, a walk and a place to read can be the whole plan. If you value unhurried time, tell Devone when choosing between a port-heavy voyage and one with more sea days.

02

A day out

A Shore Thing or independent time in port changes the rhythm of the day. Consider the travel time as well as the activity, especially if you want an easy evening afterward.

03

An evening with choices

Dinner, a performance, a drink or an early night. You can enjoy the atmosphere without making every evening a late one.

THE MOMENTS YOU HAVE HEARD ABOUT

A little red. A little play.

SCARLET NIGHT

Pack something red.

Virgin’s signature celebration brings performances and music into a shipwide evening. A red outfit or a small red detail is enough to join the spirit.

Use the schedule for your sailing. Do not assume it falls on a particular night, or arrange an early excursion the next morning without considering your own pace.

What Scarlet Night means →

PAJAMA PARTY

Comfort has an invitation.

The PJ Party is a chance to trade dinner clothes for pajamas and a more playful evening. Choose something you are comfortable wearing in a shared public setting.

Participation is optional. The event can be a fun way to begin meeting people, but there is plenty of room to make your own night.

LOOK AT YOUR SHIP’S LINEUP

Not every Lady has the same show.

These are examples from Virgin’s published entertainment collection. The app provides your sailing’s actual schedule, booking requirements and any additional charge.

Some experiences are immersive or involve audience participation. Check the description if you prefer to watch from a seat. Leave time between dinner and the performance rather than treating the listed start time as the time to leave the restaurant.

FROM MORNING MOVEMENT TO A QUIET CORNER

Find your place on board.

01

The Red Room & The Manor

These are key performance and nightlife spaces. Their use can change across the day, so look at the event as well as the venue name when deciding what to attend.

02

The Social Club & The Groupie

Games and private karaoke offer a different kind of social time. Check the ship’s schedule and booking details if you want a particular activity with friends.

03

The Runway & group fitness

Virgin’s outdoor running track and included group classes give you ways to move during the voyage. Choose a class that suits your level and follow any reservation or cancellation instructions.

04

Redemption Spa

Treatments and Thermal Suite access are separate from the included fitness offering. Review the price and appointment terms when deciding whether a spa visit belongs in your day.

WHEN THE SHIP IS YOUR STARTING POINT

Ashore, at your pace.

Shore Things

Virgin’s name for its excursions covers many kinds of outings. Read the duration, transport, activity level, meeting point and cancellation conditions. A “beach day” can mean very different travel times and facilities from one port to another.

Devone can help you choose and arrange experiences. If you plan independently, follow the ship’s all-aboard time and leave an appropriate margin for the journey back. A tour ending near the departure time is not the same as being back on board.

The Beach Club at Bimini

If your itinerary calls at Bimini, the Beach Club is a distinct part of that day. It is not a stop on every Virgin voyage. Look at your own itinerary before building expectations around the beach, and review any paid additions separately.

Accessibility and comfort

Bring mobility needs, heat sensitivity or concerns about boats, steps and walking distances to Devone. An excursion title rarely tells the whole story. He can help obtain the details needed to choose an appropriate experience.

MAKE IT YOUR OWN

Questions about the atmosphere.

Is Virgin only for people who party?

The nightlife is visible, but it does not need to be the purpose of your voyage. Think about dining, time ashore, quiet mornings and cabin location. Tell Devone what a good day looks like so he can help judge the fit.

Will I feel out of place sailing solo?

You can choose social meals and hosted activities when you want company, and spend time alone when you do not. Look for the current solo-sailor activities in the schedule. A solo trip does not require being sociable every hour.

What does the Happenings Cast do?

These hosts help bring many of Virgin’s activities to life. You may meet them at games, creative events and social gatherings. The glossary explains the name and other onboard language.

Should I reserve every evening now?

Start with the experiences that matter most, then leave space. Your dining plans, port days and the published event schedule should work together. Devone can help with that balance.
